Frequently Asked Questions About Sonic Santa

Is a Santa phone call safe for my child?

A parent creates the account, gives consent and sets up every call, so a child cannot start one alone. Every call is monitored in real time for child safety, and any call that is flagged is reviewed by a person. All personal data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and call data is deleted after 90 days.

Do you sell or use my child data for advertising?

No. We never sell or rent your data, and child data is never used for advertising, marketing or profiling. The only advertising use is a one-way hashed version of the adult account holder email and phone number, sent to Meta so we can measure whether our own ads work.

Is Sonic Santa free?

No. Each call costs from $3.49, and one token is one call. You pay for the call, so the service does not depend on selling your data. Wish list emails can include Amazon links, and we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.

Is it a video call or an app?

No. It is a real phone call. You set it up on the website and your child calls the Santa number from any phone. There is no app to download and no video.

How long is the call?

Calls usually last around 5 to 8 minutes. The exact length varies because the conversation responds to what your child says.

Is the Santa voice AI?

Yes. The Santa voice is AI, which is what lets Santa listen and reply live. We say so plainly so parents know what their child is talking to.

Can I listen to the call afterwards?

Yes. You can keep the recording and transcript for 90 days, and you can review or delete your child data at any time from the dashboard.
